SAFETY QUALITY AND ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
The Management of Third Millenium Shipping Ltd. is committed to take all reasonable precautions and measures, during the operation of managed vessels, in order to
- ensure safety at sea
- prevention of human injury or loss of life
- avoidance of damage to property.
The Company’s goal is to achieve ZERO accidents through continuous improvement.
The Company endeavors to earn the confidence of our partners in the marine industry by being recognized as a high quality and trustworthy international ship manager, through the superior standards of the offered services and the continual striving for improvement of our operations towards a cleaner and more sustainable environment.
DRUG AND ALCOHOL POLICY
The Company’s D&A policy and its requirements applies to all crewmembers onboard and all personnel who may visit a Company’s vessel as well as the contractors, visitors, etc. sailing with the vessel.
No seafarer, whatever rank, will navigate the vessel or operate its equipment while impaired by drugs or alcohol or where there is any risk of such impairment. To this end we have established specific procedures for D&A control and unannounced testing by external providers, as well as guidance for responsible alcohol consumption in the context of crew welfare measures.
GENERAL DATA PROTECTION POLICY (GDPR)
Third Millenium Shipping has established a GDPR Policy in compliance with EU Regulation 2016/679, which applies to all staff and is supplementary to Company’s policy related to Cyber Security, in order to ensure that the personal data processed by the Company are accurate, adequate, relevant and not excessive, given the purpose for which it was obtained and the processing of data is in accordance with the individual’s rights.
